Introduction

Through my work with a national Native nonprofit, I was given the opportunity to create a space for critical thought in the weekly newsletter around important topics affecting Indian Country. I wrote on everything from the Indian Child Welfare Act to Indigenous Peoples in sports to LGBTQIA2S+ issues.

You will find an array of my blogs that challenge the status quo and provide a narrative through the lens of an Indigenous Woman, Warrior, Mother, Wife, and Activist.

Conclusion

Indigenous peoples are resilient and tenacious, and our survival and existence need to be sung. While best efforts have been made to ensure our demise, we have again begun to flourish and our numbers have started grow.

Through my blogs I found strength to showcase the triumphs and tribulations of Indigenous peoples. Through this international platform I was able to remind everyone: Our beauty and resilience has never ceased to exist. We’ve been here all along and the future is Indigenous.
