Our History

Throughout my professional career I have had the pleasure of working with Indigenous peoples throughout Indian Country and the world, from the Gwich’in people in Alaska, to the Māori in New Zealand, and the Quechua people of the Amazon Basin, and many more. I have become a part of an international network of Indigenous leaders who provide professional and moral support to each other and organize on pivotal issues. It is my wish to continue to be a part of the movement that helps in the advancement of Indigenous peoples.

Through my experience as an Indigenous, Native, woman warrior, mother, and wife I was able to gain a broader perspective of issues affecting Indigenous peoples and recognize the need for more values-based spaces, where the people are able to share and create consensus-based solutions that benefit the collective. That is why I started Skidi Parí. There is a critical need for Indigenous women to be part of those solutions.

Our Mission

To amplify Indigenous voices, foster understanding, and bridge cultural gaps by providing authentic support, advocacy, and education about Indigenous peoples.

Our Vision

Skidi Parí LLC envisions a world where Indigenous voices are heard, respected, and celebrated, fostering a deep appreciation for Native American knowledge and cultures, where everyone sees the Indigenous beauty.

Our Goals

My goals as and Indigenous woman warrior include:

  • Establishing mastery of contemporary tools for scholarly discourse to empower myself to describe and advocate for Native communities.
  • Using the techniques of modern and historical authors I seek to inspire an emotional and introspective response in as many people I can.
  • Through empathy and education, I hope to change hearts and minds so that all communities can learn to respect and value Native American contributions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to design and execute original research and effectively apply it in a contemporary Indigenous context.
